I'd like to introduce myself. I live in Washington state and found your wonderful list after "accidentally" buying a fjord mare. I was scouting for a girlfriend and fell in love with a beautiful fjord mare in foal. She (girlfriend) was not quite ready so I bought the mare myself and am really enjoying her. This will be a change for me - I'm hoping to enjoy dressage now on a 14.3 hand fjord instead of my 17.3 hand dutch warmblood. I also need to ask for help. My friend is now ready for "the horse" - pastures newly fenced, nice barn, good grass, and two awesome, kind, responsible teenage daughters who are dying to ride. This would be a super home for your horse. She would also like to use the horse to plow, pull wagon, etc. A fjord (or two) would definitely be the ticket.
