He was purchased out of a place called EJ's Equestrian Center in Turlock. He is currently called "Punkie". He is a terrific horse, lots of presence, beautiful conformation, excellent mover, clean legged - not draft type, not refined, middle of the road in type, kind, smart and has me totally intrigued.
