Hi,

I have planted a very fast growing Leylandi Cypress (100 of them). They grow
about a foot per year. My Fjord does not like to eat it, BUT she will rub
all over it and break off the branches. I did a line of these trees between
our neighbors, and thankful that I did. My trees are now about 30ft tall and
were planted 10 ft apart when they were a foot tall. I now am blocked from
the neighbors view, too bad I can still hear them. I ran a hotwire in front
of the trees, because over the years the horses always seem to like to itch
on them and break the branches. They grow very well in the Pacific NW, are
disease and bug resistant, and EVERGREEN. When first planted they need to
be watered very good once per week during the summer.

Hope you find a solution.

Rosemary in Roy WA.
