Dear All, the first winter I fed the two old boys free choice grass hay w. a
little grain and vitamins, came thru our usual winter of a run of -20F
nights with -60F windchills fat as little pigs. Earned me a big bad
lecture from my vet. But

My sacrifice area is about 1/4 ac. I feed in head through bunks so there is
no waste. My horses get about 2% of body weight in 2 feedings/day. Everyone
eats together but I do have the punks cut out as there isn't enough room in
either bunk for 5 horses.
