Hi,
Google is looking for either a contractor (6-9 month contract) or permanent
employee. Complete job description is here:

Those requirements are for the permanent position, not all are
I would use midi, then. Midi capabilities are pretty much universal
these days, and you'll need a lot smaller download. Plus, mp3's have a
lag on startup--not bad, but it gets annoying pretty quickly. Midi
won't have that problem.
Except for the tiny detail that Flash doesn't do MIDI.
Heh.
Ah, didn't realize this! (I'm still using CS3). Thanks for clarifying,

streets, demanding (a better IDE?) (a return to some AS2 features?)
Like Kerry, I come from the world of Director (Adobe/Macromedia
Director), with 15+ year's experience there. I have a degree in
English but never had a problem landing a job, probably because back
in the early days of the 90's, good help was hard to find, and then
as I gained experience in
Daniel - have you thought about using Director? One of the few things
its still useful for (kiosks / communication with external devices).
OTOH the current version has so many problems and Director in general
seems on its way out, so that I can't blame you for wanting to go the
