Try optimizing the Decoding code that you have written in SoapDecoder.as
file, if you are running for loops then there would definately be a
performance hit, why dont you do your processing in webservice itself n then
send the final result to the flex app, always good to perform less
interesting :)
this would be really simple if you are doing it in flex 4, create a skin and
position the sub components in what ever way you want or in flex 3, try
extending the component and look for the functions in the component source
code file where the exact layout and positioning happening
