[flexcoders] Datagrid - sorting/losing current row, also why descending first?

I have 2 questions about the datagrid: 1) When I sort by clicking on the header, it re-sorts the grid but keeps the current row selected and at the top of the grid, in the case of all columns except 1. Any idea why it would work for most but not all columns? I see no special code pertaining to tha
