There was a thread on flexcoders about a year ago talking about using the @Embed syntax to compile FLV video into the SWF. Apparently this wasn't possible back then but there was talk that it might be in a future version. Is there any news on this? Is there anyway to embed an FLV directly into the SWF file? I believe this is possible with Flash since MX or so:
