the use of Flex 2 vs. just straight Flash 8 Pro.

For me the worst limitation of flex2 mixed with graphics assets is lack
of control timeline in loaded swf (swf v8), you can control it if
communicates via localconnection but it make difficult developer
process. Big plus for flex is debugger - first working debugger in
flash word, I think.
