Typically we use a Local SharedObject to store user preferences, and
retrieve those settings and set up the UI on application start-up.  The
LSO is fairly easy to use,  but the dynamic UI is the complicated part.
The LSO will be machine level settings.  If you need individual
settings, then you will need a login and server-side persistence of UI
states/prefs.

Hello Flexcoders,

 

Does Flex offer to save personalized configuration on the UI? Every user
has different preference about how the result can be viewed on UI. It's
not about the preference on the browser. It's about how to save the view
of the result retrieved by Flex from the server end. 

 

Any idea?
