If history is enabled, then the back button should work. I personally
have never used this.

You can use shared objects and just keep track of the user by ip so no matter
what he does it is still saved, now when he closes you should just flush out
that shared object.

actually since ur using CF can't you just use cookies and just send it to flex
when it starts. I just started CF like a week ago so i may have no clue but
