What error are you getting?
Theoretically the mxmlc call should be similar to the one used for mxml
compilation.
Like:
<mxmlc file="styles.css" output="${swf.output}/styles.swf" />

Ant Tasks seem to indicate that it is possible with the mxmlc task,
