For those that don't want to back rev from 626.
You can rename your database, start PowerSDR and then do a DB import to
get things going. Once you quit PowerSDR, you have to do the "power up"
sequence again.

Thank you Tim.
It definitely is "Your mileage may vary".
I seem to have gotten the most benefit from changing
the Delta 44 control panel DMA buffer size from 256 to 1024.
I changed the PowerSDR Setup DSP buffers to 2048.
I experimented with PowerSDR Setup Audio buffers between
256 and 2048 and
Hi Joe,
I didn't see any replies to your question, so I thought I'd comment. I
do not think the open collector driver on X2 will be damaged if it has
13.8 v on its collector while the SDR is powered off provided the SDR
and the 13.8 v source share a common ground. There will be no base

Set the DSP buffer to 2048 and then the Audio buffer to 512 and see what
happens.

Thank you, setting PowerSDR/Setup/Audio/Buffer Size to 1024 from 512 makes a
huge improvement in poping noise, 2048 even more so. I don't like going to more
latency though. DSP buffer still set to 512.

Boy, this is an area when one size fits one. There are not hard and
fast values for setting these parameters. It depends on too many PC
hardware variables and improvements that Bob has made to the code. The
values I am using today are not what I used with 1.6.1 and 1.6.2
It has been my experien
From the FLex Radio Bug Tracker #394, currently running
PowerSDR 1.6.3 SVN 620, I did the suggestion of changing:
Delta 44 control panel,
Hardware Settings,
DMA Buffer Size
Latency from 256 to 512
This helped somewhat, but changing it to 1024 reduced
the popping/crackling, even in Histogram. In
