I don't believe that I've used the optical ports on the FA-66, but I believe
they show up as additional channels as they do in the FireBox. Basically,
you would access input/output channel 5 and 6 to access the optical
channels.

I assume that it at least comes with complete the development
tools, utilities, unlimited free support, all things like that, at
those prices...

If the PR-40 has a standard 3-pin XLR, then it is a standard balanced
XLR to XLR cable.
There is a KB article that shows all sorts of balanced to balanced and
balanced to unbalanced cable connections.

I am going to upgrade to the Edirol and want to offer my Presonus Firebox up
for sale. It is a complete package and a blank registration card. It is
functional in all respects and is as new. I used it for less than 10
hours. I have all the packing material. $190. I am also selling my

hook-up and basic tweaking questions.

Is it time for a Start-Up reflector? There are so many Flexors out there
now who are experienced hams and capable of digging into the finer points
of SDR. For those new to SDR or even to ham radio, this reflector has
progressed far beyond the beginner. I would be willing to regularly check

I have been following the Play Station 3 thread with interest but I cannot
glean enough lay persons information from the back and forth to understand
what it means.
I have a few clues. If Sony is offering a Linux 2.6 version it must be open
code which means it can be hacked (pardon the term).

I have Linux (Ubuntu) running on my PC. I can surf the web and use the
open office software.
The problem I have with Linux is the difficulty of down loading and
getting programs that I am intersted in to run.
This is surely due to my lack of knowledge however I find it very hard to
