Yes Frank, that seems to be the purpose. However, when I pushed it
things jumped all around and the reject phase setting wound up at -200
or something like that. I sermized that I might not want the antenna
connected when I use this thing. Just to much rf floating around here. W8XO

Brian,
The updated CAT Dictionary is in the SVN Documentation folder. The revision
record, showing what has been changed, is on the last page of the
dictionary.

Maybe instead of labeling it Button 1,
you could label it, Do Not Push 1.
That would guarantee that we would all
be testing it out. :)
I love alpha test stubs. Please leave them in.

The Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processors are fine with our radio. Certainly
not too fast (is there such a thing?). ;) For the soundcard, I would
recommend the Edirol FA-66. Make sure that your computer has firewire
(sometimes called 1394) support. If it doesn't, its easy enough to add a

I did try deselecting the web check options, but no joy. The swapout of McAfee
Security Center for the Avast antivirus products made no difference, either.

I noted today that HRD does not display the S-Meter anymore. I used the

Your right, looks like some recent change in DttSP killed the CAT command.
HRD uses ZZSM, not the Kenwood SM command (but that doesn't work either).
I'll look at it tomorrow. Thanks for the report.

Hi Al,
Your advice led me to a search that eventually helped me solve the problem.
It turns out that I had Universal Plug and Play Device Host enabled in
Services. It was reaching out and trying to find PnP devices across the
network (I think) and that caused CPU to skyrocket and lock up
