I still can't get this to work!!
Is there anybody in the UK, within about 50 miles, who has successfully
installed an external clock into a SDR-1000? I don't know if my problem is my
10MHz source, or my installation into the rig.
Thanks

A VAC feature that can cause accumulating latency is its automatic
resampling. It is so automatic that you can't easily even tell that
it is working. But there is a way to minimize it and the delays that
it causes.
First run the VAC control panel and start your setup. Observe the

Hi all,
Havn't seen any response yet to Frank's (OZ0FT) problems from the experts. I
had similar problems in the past which I solved so may be able to help. As this
is a bit specialised, best if you contact me off list Frank.

OK, I was on the right path.
Will this result in the loss of the rx filters I created for the various modes?
If so, is there a way to save that info?

This is just a test. Don't worry about all of the other set ups, just the TX
profiles.
If it works than you will have to recreate the filter setting unless you have
and are familiar with using Microsoft Access to transfer data between tables in
different databases.

I am experiencing strange problems with my SDR-5000, which have just

ask here and see if anyone has experienced a similar situation.
The most visible problem is that a very broad and nasty spur has
appeared on 160 meters. It
I have reloaded the Firewire driver and latest firmware in an attempt
to get a fix on my problem. Now, whenever I attempt to start a clean

from the EEPROM, then stops and gives the message Bad Data detected

Dave,
There will be some anomalies that you might see either connected to a
dummy load or without an antenna that lay in the noise floor because
the noise floor is so low. Most radios might not even hear or see
their noise because the noise floor is higher and covers these sort
of things
