Bill,
Are you aware of the utility available that does exactly what your script
will do, except a lot more conveniently (no editing of files, etc.)? The
following URL will take you to the Knowledge Base article where you can
download the utility:

Try this. Install a version 4.70 of WSJT and see what happens using 1.10.4.

Subject: [Flexradio] SDR v1.10.4 and VAC

Hi,
If you use multiple copies of PowerSDR and want to copy parts of your
database setup ie memories etc here is a windows
Script to allow you to do it.
Just copy the lines between the dashed lines and save them to a file
copytables.vbs then edit the file to amend the SourceDB, Destinatio
I remain convinced that there is a VAC problem with v1.10.4
I have been running the following without problems:
SDR-1000
M-Audio Delta44
Parallel port (abandoned USB to parallel adaptor as a disaster!)
v1.10.3 and earlier
WSJT v5.9.8
VAC4.03
When I recently installed v1.10.4 and ran WSJT receive
I do not have any nor have I ever had of these problems with VAC.
I believe there is something else loaded on the machine. I think what you may
be seeing with VAC is a symptom of another issue that is manifesting itself in
the VAC process.
I am using firmware 0.1.1.10, VAC 4.08 and several of
Flex-5000 with PowerSDR 1.10.4. Enabling VAC often kills the sound and
sometimes freezes the PowerSDR display as well. The only thing that
seems to remedy the problem is a sufficiently (where "sufficient" is a
variable) long sequence of disabling/enabling VAC and/or
stopping/starting PowerSDR,
Sometimes, after trying a Test or other non-mainstream build of
PowerSDR, I can't get 1.10.4 to work without a lot of trouble. Sometimes
1.10.4 reports that it has detected a new radio, with a Serial No,
ending in .
All the different versions are in different directories, and each with
its own
v1.10.4 with the latest latest firmware v0.1.1.10

Take a peek at the controls in the Setup Form -> General Tab -> Filters Sub
