Interesting article. Note the part where they talk about degrading a
sound-card's input if the output is playing something. Gee, isn't that
what VAC does for us? Having the OS degrade the "input" side of a
soundcard strikes me as likely to break piping the audio stream to a
digital-mode pro
Try uninstalling vCom from the computer. It should clean itself up and remove
the ports.
