Try changing the VAC driver to WDM-KS. Make sure that the digi mode
program is not running when you make change.

Tim,
My settings are - SR 96kHz, buffer 1024, VAC Driver MME, Input Line1
(virtual Audio Cable), output line2 (virtual audio cable), buffer size 1024,
sample rate 48000, Allow PTT to override/bypass for phone is checked, TX
gain is 2, TX Gain is 16, latency manual NOT checked, latency ms 120.
What are yourFirewire/audio (SR & buffer) and VAC settings in
PowerSDR? I do not think it is a PTT issue but the first part of the
AF from the digi mode program is is being cut off.

I am using the FLEX 5000A for WINMOOR and have had no problems establishing
communications; however, I have had troubles passing messages. I have received
the following comments from two different stations:

I have the correct firmware, and I just loaded psdr 1.18.2 and it works!

Which firmware do you have loaded to the Radio?
If it is Firmware 2.0.0.0 PowerSDR 1.18.3 WILL NOT WORK with this firmware
version.
You should be using 1.3.0.8 on the Flex-5000 and Flex 1.2.5.6 on the
Flex-3000.
I am sure you have tried this BUT maybe not, the symptoms you have described

Brett,
If you are in demo mode when PowerSDR starts, then the problem is that the
radio and the PC are not communicating with each other at the Firewire level.
You have to resolve this first.
So to do this, lets start with a clean slate because it might be impossible to
figure out what is act
I reset the data base by going into demo mode, after it fails during int
hardware.
After the data base reset, I get error opening radio driver...

Do a database reset from the Setup form. If you are not presented to select
the correct radio when PowerSDR is re-started, then you may have a driver
problem.

Psdr 1.18.3, firmware updated ok, driver version 3.4.2.6300, all the latest
stuff, while I can update the radio firmware, when I open psdr it does not
see the radio...only gives my sound card options, the driver does list the
5000.

Which version of PWSDR are you trying to start?
Do you have the correct Driver installed.
While the Driver should work for all versions.
Did you remove it?
The Firmware is version dependent.
Did you remove the Firmware, and if so did you reinstall the correct
Firmware version appropriate

In an effort to go back to the default config, and also try older versions
