Hi Guys,
Has anyone tried a Transverter with a Flex radio? I am wondering if so, what
type? How well do they work with powerSDR?
It seems like the ideal solution for me..

Hi Greg,
Thanks for that very informative email -
" It isn't a "tack on", but it does use a substantial amount of the "guts"
in the FLEX-5000. The V/U frequencies are mixed down to the high HF bands
and then fed into the TRX board so the RF can be converted to I/Q and then
digitized before bein
None that I know of.
It looks to me that the Flex-1500, -3000 and -5000 (and probably even the
CDRX-3200) are all based on the same basic hardware architectures. The
differences being primarily the number of accessory add-ons (power
amplifier, antenna tuner, etc. etc.) included in the package, and
I would never ship anything irreplaceable through UPS. I bought a hand made
automatic tuner on Ebay. It was beautiful piece of equipment. The UPS
website showed it being put on the delivery van but it never made it to my
house.
Lost forever. OK if you can buy a replacement but not in this case
Does anyone have any info on when the software for diversity with the 5K is
going to be available - thanks G3RCQ
