With the SDR-1000 echo can be caused from poorly seated audio cables, RF getting into the audio cables, ground loops (and there are lot of them depending on the sound card being used), leaving the MON on, or a power supply that is not well regulated (voltage drop on transmit). Remember, if you

Richard, The receiver audio is intended to come out on through the Phones output. Rerouting through the computer speakers can be done, but not as designed. Using the USB port the 1500 is limited to half duplex where as the 3000/5000 are actually able to run full duplex .i'll discuss this with
