The rear 1/4" mike input seems much less prone to RFI issues than using the eight pin connector on the front. Also use the rear RCA for PTT. Be sure to check the box for mike gain in the main menu or you might find that you have to run a lot of gain on the "radio" screen slider. Adjust t

Whoops. I read this incorrectly. Your issue *is* with the phones output and not VAC. My bad. Make sure that the load on the phones is at least 32 ohms and are truly stereo (http://kc.flexradio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50453.aspx) Also there is a bug in PowerSDR v2.0.16 where the if the AF gai

This is the trouble when you have multiple amplifiers (gain stages) in the audio signal chain. If your input gain to the last stage is too high and is distorting, you destroy your SNR and then the sound card just amplifies the poor signal and the included noise. Connect headphones or computer

ALL, I'm having distorted audio output from the 1500 phone audio port. If I use VAC and redirect the audio to my USB phones all works well but with increased latency. Is anyone else having this issue or could this be a configuration error on my part? I'm using 2.0.16 software (special load from F
