I switch bands. I normally had the ATU on on 80M and off on the other

This issue is indicative of bad EEPROM data. What version of PowerSDR are you

Charles,
We are testing a new version this weekend that appears to resolve the
overshoot. We will know more after the alpha testers get some more time on
it.

it ... shut down and rebooted .. no CW from bug or external

Thanks for the comment, Al. You're close -- that third picture is actually the
SSB signal of a sawtooth wave.

Robert,
I use the line in on my F5K for my remote operation 100% of the time. I
use a balanced audio link from my office at home to the radios which are
about 300 feet away.
I use a LM386 amplifier at the office end to amplify the mic input and use
a 8 ohm speaker transformer in reverse (ie the

My question:
Can I use 'line in' on back of radio for remote transmit audio?
Looks like I can if I use a 600 to 5k ohm transformer.

I know this is in the manual but…….
Does this pin put out a DC voltage to switch a relay? If so how much?
If not what is its intended use?
Thanks

Looking at your third snap shot, I see what looks like an attempt to
create an SSB signal from a clipped sinewave ( or squarewave ) as
described by E.W. Papenfus in Single Side Band Priciples and Circuits..
What is needed is envelope limiting and not audio clipping ..

It doesn't hurt, of course, to have a technologically superior product.

Wow, Thank you.
Fix the overshoot issue and I know myself and many others will be extremely
happy.
Some , I feel, will even return to using their Flex radios.
Terrific news.
Again, thank you for addressing this issue.

I can confirm this happens with my Flex 5K, and Alpha 99, using current release
version of PowerSDR. It is difficult to get a stable situation, even as low as
10 watts out on the Flex to safely drive the amp on SSB.
