Howdy Folks,
Well so far I've not solved the issue.

I have tried windows sound direct
I turned off all windows display features, strictly performance mode.
I'm running registered version of VAC 4.09
I'm using VSP 1.01.017

Dave - Thanks for checking the startup sequence. I definitely only have
one instance of MiniDeluxe running.
Jim - I have two port pairs configured with com0com, 16-6 and 17-7.
Within PowerSDR I have CAT enabled and assigned to port 17. Mini-Deluxe
is configured to work with port 7. Also, withi
That's a great suggestion Michael. I gave it a shot to see what would
happen.
With PowerSDR running, starting Mini-Deluxe first, it shows 0
connections when it comes up. Starting the HRD Logbook (version 5.0
build 2494) Mini-Deluxe reports one connection a few seconds after the
logbook screen
Rob,
I have a very similar setup, with an exception- I do not enable PTT on a
virtual com port like you do. Radio control (including PTT) is completely with
CAT through a virtual com cable. Minideluxe should listen to the other end of
the Virtual Serial cable that PSDR is on.

I'm with Michael.. I start Minideluxe first then HRD Logbook and start DM780
from logbook.
I tried starting them in a different order and still could connect .
Make sure your not running multiple minideluxes..

The only obvious difference I can see in what you do and what I do is
that I start HRD logbook first and then start DM-780 from it.
Just a shot in the dark because I don't have all my stuff booted up
right now. Was just about to hit the hay.

Well I just got home from work and I'll be trying to look this over and see
if anything mentioned will help.
I have the registered version of of VAC, I'll have to check to see if when I
registered it got me up to 4.10.
I'll report what I find... thanks so far :)
thanks and 73

Hi,
I'm using a Flex 5K with Power SDR 2.0.20 RC2 under WinXP. I've
configured VAC 4.9 and Mini Deluxe along with DM-780 and it's working
fine for the digital modes. The last obstacle I'm facing is that the HRD
logbook will not connect to DM-780 through the Mini Deluxe IP server.
I'm wonderin

Others may have a better solution, but I would change the Firewire settings
to run in Safe Mode 2 or even 3. The latency may be too high in SSTV mode. I
feel that way because 2g of RAM is a little light for Win 7 64 bit to run
smoothly. Also turn off the WIFI adapter if it is on.
