Why not try a system restore back to a time when you knew it was running OK? Besides that I never take a Windows Update for XP anymore...the last one which included SP3 crashed the PC and even after recovery , the PC was slower than a snail. I stripped it all out and did a full restore based on my

When I rebooted my computer and restarted PowerSDR v2.0.22 today it spewed some garbage and didn't start. When I restarted it, it started as if it had never been run before. I didn't get the driver install prompts but it read the eprom and started at the factory defaults. I reset it again to

Just received my 5000a. Ocassionally upon start, rx goes into a schhh...sc...schhh...sc... cycle Non stop. It registers across the entire bandscope. Turning the rig off through the software and restarting eliminates the issue. Running windows Vista with intell dual core. Any ideas?

The A is new to me. My C never had that issue however it was running XP on its own computer. I am not concerned since a simple off on solves the issue and it does not happen once it is running. Maybe Matt or Gerald will post here and give us some insight.
