With the release of V2.2.2, I had hoped that this problem got resolved,
but no luck!
I believe some time ago it was stated that the problem of ATU settings
by band got fixed (forgot what version).
Can someone please verify...

In listening to the rig just now it almost seems like the background hiss is
too quite.
Also I could see a CW signal i n PSDR but there was nothing showing for a CW
sig in SKimmer. Weird.
Anyways, here are my settings.

Have you tried WDM driver ?
I'm using that and Cwskimmer is decoding fine.

I use WDM-KS for almost all installations and usually the RX gain for VAC is
-10 to -8 or so. Also make sure spike Repression is not turned on!

Spike Repression ? Is that in PowerSDR or CWSkimmer ?
Do you know how to view more than a 24kz bandwidth ? I remember seeing a
solution a while back .

Try these changes:
Uncheck combine VAC channels
Do not check RX2 unless you are receiving signals from RX2 you want to
decode

Its the SR button in PSDR below the pan adapter and VFOA (in the group with
NB, NB2, etc)
You can drag the Skimmer window to expose more frequencies, have you tried
that??

I doubt this is defined as a problem that prevents people from
operating, or that it is considered a problem at all. You change band,
obviously the tune established for one band is not the same, so it goes
into bypass, as that would be better than transmitting into a tune setup
for another
I agree with Steve's reply 100%. My 2 cents

I unchecked combine VAC channels and unchecked use RX2. Also changed the audio
driver in PSDR and Skimmer to WDM-KS. Changed RX gain for VAC –9.
None of these improved decode.

Zack,
I just configured my 5000 identically to the info you provided (except
for the two changes I recommended) and it is decoding fine.
Here is a dumb question. You don't have CW Skimmer in Blind mode do you?

It was not in blind mode. Never tried that be fore but when I put it in blind
mode all decoding s topped.
I am starting to lean towards removing PSDR, VAC (I know that there are special
instructions to remove VAC BTW), DDUTIL, the Flex driver and Skimmer, rebooting
and reinstalling all.
What is your computer's hardware configuration?
