Hi I have a Flex 3000 running SDR 2.3.5 on a laptop from Neal with window

Cool idea Mike, even though I only have a vertical, which is always pointed in
the right (or wrong) direction!
How about an option to read and average the wind direction off a wind vane
mounted on the tower and sever the tie to the internet? Just thinking out loud
here...

I'm commissioning a friend of mine to right some rotor automation that
would read the Weather Underground data for my weather station and then
once every 20 minutes or so, ensure the beam was headed in the 'right'
direction if the wind was greater than 20kph (15mph) as an example.

Has anyone on the list tried duplex operation with the Flex-5000A (tx on one
band while rx on another) in a contest situation with full legal power? For
5000A with the second rx, of course. If so, how was the performance?
