I am using the Digi Edgeport USB to serial converter box under Windows 7
x64. It is USB to four DB-9 serial ports. Works great, zero problems!

not sure of the part number, absolutely no problems (not even issues).
Normally those adapters are the devil, but this one works.

Startech has a 4 port USB adapter that uses FTDI chips that is cheap and good.
Stay away from Prolific chipset adapters.

I too have found the delay excessive. Today was working JT65 and everyone
was 2 sec off on DT. Restarted Meinberg which did nothing to correct this.
Then read the digest that came out and saw Brian's comments about
restarting VAC. So gave that a try and that brought everyone back to around

Because Windows USB com driver does not properly enumerate virtual com
ports and can assign the FlexControl to a com port already in use
defined by a virtual com port driver. That will make the FlexControl in
