Transmit equalizer. Set it to 10-band and reduce the 125Hz and 250 Hz

I feel exactly the opposite of you Tom. I was ready to smash my flex 3000
to bits and had to put it into the box and send it off with a friend or I
would regret smashing the damned thing.
After I heard about the 2.4.4 upgrade I got my radio back and now its
something that I can actually use. St
I had weird issues with 2.4.4 trying to reload firmware and it happened when
I had my iPhone connected to the computer and it was syncing the music.
No problems since disconnecting the iPhone.

Ihave reached the point whit the latest version that a am sorry that I up
graded. Some timing issue in my computer now locks up the unit completely and
then tells me that I need to upgrade the firmware. When I see this I must

function after the upgrade. They were there and I could select them, but
each time I got a message about the VFO freqs being incorrect.
