Jim,
Thanks for the idea. I'll give it a try tomorrow when I get another day off
to play with the radio. Getting this to work just can't be this difficult.
I'm sure I'm missing something somewhere in the OS.

Hi guys.
Following an unexpected high SWR condition on 10m (@80w full carrier),
the PA failed to fold back for some reason and smoked them. To save me
the bother of opening the box prematurely, could someone tell me which
MOSFETs are used, please?
Regards,
Nige.
Cheers. Managed to confirm that. Now the trouble is I can't find any in
the UK - any help appreciated.
Nige.

I run a Flex 3K under 64 bit Windows 7 on a plenty fast i7 PC. I use PowerSDR
2.3.5 (couldn't get latest release to behave). Every thing runs great except
every so often (several times a day) the audio gets raspy but is immediately
corrected by shutting off, then quickly turning back on
+1 here.

To any UK Flexer who might find themself in the same position, courtesy
of N1DL the F5K's finals are also used in the Icom IC-7000. The
RD70HHF1's were in stock @ £44ea. That's about middle of the road from
the prices I obtained but the only supplier to have them in stock.

It is really not likely to be PSDR, but it is likely that something is
setting off a cluster DPCs. If the DPCs are long enough it will mess up
the buffering of data. There is a DPC monitor in PSDR (there used to be -
I am not at my radio PC to check). Try running that, I average 120 us,
