Well, the CW mode of fldigi will send for you. You type your message and it
sends it. If you want to do code practice you can just se
CWX which is built-in to PowerSDR should do the trick.
The CWX option is up at the top of PowerSDR with Setup, Wave, Memory, etc.

No. The 5000 and 3000 only indicate SWR when you press the TUN button. The
rest of the time it only displays 0:1. So if you want to see SWR

Which model Flex ?
I don't believe the 1500 has a bridge to measure SWR
On the 3000 and 5000 the SWR will only read when you click Tune .
If you have a 3000 or 5000that reads 0.0:1 when in Tune, you may have a
hardware problem.

I'm still trying to get all my ducks in a row with my 1500 and various
digital programs like JT-65HF and Fldigi. It seems to me that with my
previous installation, I had preset the RX and TX gain levels in
PowerSDR based on info I got somewhere but I don't remember where. Are
there "defaults"
I am looking for a Flex 3000. I have a 5000 already but want the 3000 as a
backup radio. I have cash NOW!
Let me know your best price shipped to 14024.
Thanks for your time

I tried all proposed solution without results, so, I juste loaded PSDR 2.4.4,
