BTW, unless your motherboard is damaged (i would rather doubt it) then the
fact that your onboard video stopped working is possibly a sign that the
power supply is already overloaded or broken.

Do you have one of those kill-a-watt boxes that measures usage? That could
give you an idea of how much power you can lay with it,
