Thanks all for the replies.
One thing that IS different (just noticed) is the CW Skimmer version. On the
F5K it’s 1.6. On the F3K rig it’s Skimmer v1.8. That might explain why I have
sigh a large negative offset. Different version?

My CWSkimmer audio offset is 9700 Hz with PSDR 2.7.2 in CWU mode and an
audio tone of 700 Hz. Yes the audio tone can be set to 725 Hz in which
case the CWSkimmer offset would be 9725 with an IF (Hz) of 9000.

The CW Skimmer offset you are reporting see

The CW Skimmer offset you are reporting seems unusual but not out of the
realm. For default PowerSDR settings, it will be 9600. 9000Hz for the
software "IF" offset used plus 600Hz for the CW tone offset. Is it
possible you have your CW offset set to 725Hz?

Mark,
Could this be a case of using different sidebands (upper or lower) with CW
on the two rigs?
I had to change from "normal" CW (LSB) to upper side band CW on an Icom set
in order
to have a waterfall display behave "non inverted".
