I've used win7 64bit with my flex 1500 for almost two years now with several incarnations of power SDR and have had no problems at all. I also have virtual audio cable and it too seems to integrate well, but I don't operate digital modes very often. I'm using a relatively high end desktop computer. Bill KJ5CI
