Hello, I have been reading and followinghere as others and haven't made a
comment here for a long time. I still own a Flex5000 and used toown a Flex3000
for mobile use. I bought the Flex5000 new when theyfirst came on the market.
Some reason or another I ended up in the secondwave of receiving one? Does
anyone remember the  AdFlex used to advertise? Something like Never Buy
AnotherRadio Again.   Something in this order making onebelieve simply just
that....Never Need to Buy another Radio? Well how about that!!! I have paid
over 3000.00 dollarsincluding the second receiver.   Now not only look what
these SDR'sare going for, but what will the Smart SDR's go for when something
New comes tothe Market?  In other words how much money will be lost when
something newhits the market?  Someone said they are being treated like old
computers? I think this statement might not be to far from the truth, time will
tell? I am also an owner of anAnan100.  It is a great radio with new features
still being added usingPWRSDR. (imagine that!) I think most owners of the
Ananseries will agree that it works well on "AM".  At the moment Idisagree
here.  I will have to say the Flex5000 in my experiences on"AM" is a much
better performer on transmit then the Anan. Like everyone we are entitled to
ourown opinions, But this is also coming from my experiences too. A lot of
money is being thrownaround and loosing its value while the companies are
gaining in profit andmoving forward leaving the ones who got them there behind.
I say speak upand be heard!  Again just my opinion, but imagine if a company
gave backin someway to their original customers giving them more breaks on
pricesinstead of the new customers.  Wouldn't you think the customers who
hadgotten them there would continue to support them and give them morepraise?
Looking forward... I guess this is why opinions aren't worth themeanings behind
them, its just an opinion! Best of Luck!KenWB4AM
