As much as I liked the Flex 1500A, I am moving it out of the operating position
and back to the shipping box. I have been plauged for months with the rig
quiting in mid qso. I give up! It has a nice receiver but is unreilable.

I have been using and enjoying my Flex 1500 for almost a year now. Tonight I
tuned in on P49T on 40 CW. When I started to call him the rig just quit. After
a couple of minutes of troubleshooting I found the fuse was blown. I replaced
it and tried again, a second fuse has blown. I have checked
All the audio reports I have received while operating ssb have been flattering.
I am using the default settings and a Heil Proset.

My Flex 1500 has worked flawlessly for about a year. Yesterday while listening
to 17M CW I started hearing a strange distortion in my speakers and the the
complete receiver was blanked by this distortion. I tried to shut PowerSDR down
but all I got was a strange LOUD tone. Any ideas on what may
