Why not start with ferrites/RF Isloator on the antenna coax coming into the
shack?? Best to kill it before it gets in!!

I noticed a similar power variation on my 3000 during Field day in June.
Stations that were very strong weren't hearing me at times when I thought
they should have and when I looked at the power out it was well down at
times. The power supply voltage hadn't changed as it was the first thing I
