I'm trying to set up TeamSpeak audio:
My SDR-1000 uses a Delta-44.
My other sound card is a SB Audigy 2. There is a start menu for the SB
that plays a demo DVD-audio sample - this works fine. But audio CDs
don't work using VAC Audio Repeater set up as in N4Hy's Quickstart
procedure (see

This is clearly ionosound. I see it frequently
Is an ionosonde something you would look for at a snipe hunt?

I converted from 1.8 to 1.10.1 a few days ago. Since then I have noticed a
wave that surfs across my panadapter from low to high frequencies. As it
passes through my (CW) listening frequency, I hear a doppler-like signal. I
re-calibrated with a clean database.
Any ideas on the source of
Jim what version of PowerSDR are you using?

I second the motion. It is most likely an ionospheric
I did recalibrate and start with a new database. The strange thing is that
I didn't see the rolling wave in ver 1.8 - the only other version I've used.

Dave DXLab responded to me as to how to set up AFSK in WinWarbler as
follows:
Open the Config window's RTTY tab. In the Modulation and transceiver
mode panel's AFSK sub-panel, select the LSB entry, set its Xcvr Mode
selector to RTTY, set its Mark Offset to 0, and set its Optimal Offset
to 2210.
I would like to update to the version of PowerSDR has Bob Tracey's new CW
interface. I am using version 1.8 and have all modes working finally. I
have never updated to a higher version of PowerSDR so what is the process?
I know it is documented somewhere but I trust you guys to give me all
I am a Newbie, so be gentle. I had SSB working a few days ago in MOX mode
and it was calibrated. I hear a tone when I tune up.
But now the TX meter is grayed out and I get no power out. Maybe unrelated,
I get an ATU comm error.
I am using ver 1.8 PowerSDR

I received the following from Dave AA6YQ - the DXLab Suite author:
DIGU means digital mode, upper sideband.
For transceiver control, set the Model selector on Commander's
General tab to Kenwood; if your connection through the SDR's virtual
port is configured and working correctly,

Is anyone using a Heil ProSet with the SDR-1000 and Delta-44? Do you plug
it into the SDR-1000 front panel or the sound card? Does it require a
pre-amp? Also, which adapter is required?
Thanks,

So far I've read that I need to buy the following for my new SDR-1000. It
would be good to put a list in one place.
1. Astron SS-30 power supply
2. 100 watt dummy load (I have an MFJ-949E)
3. Mic (Heil PR, GM or HM-10 recommended); maybe a pre-amp with
Delta-44 ??
4.
I live in a CCR 'hood but I have in-laws with a farm 1 mile away so I may
try remote. Is anyone remote operating successfully on a regular basis for
day-to-day operation?
