This is symtematic of control port malfunction, could be the cable or

As far as I know, PSDR has no means of routing mic audio out to a
windows sound device.
The method that I have used is to route the Mic directly to a Windows
sound card and then thru the sound card to the F5000 line input. (i.e.
set it up like you would a knobs and buttons radio )

The MARS/CAP functionality is firmware which can only be obtained
from Flex for your specific radio. Contact the FLex help desk who will

As long as the Power SDR IF version does not use firewire ( like the

Yes, you will need an interface on the 30l-1 KEY (ptt) input.. The
voltage on that line WILL BLOW the driver in the F3000.. Other only
other interconnect that you need to connect is the RF..
The F3000 does not have ALC.. It does have pretty good control the RF

Martin,
First: The ZZPS command is for turning the START Button On ( ZZPS1; )

Second: PSDR would execute them in immediate sequence. Its not a

DDUTil could turn it into a toggle type of command but I'm guessing

Alan,
The "invalid driver" error is likely caused if you have VAC enabled
before you select WDM-KS.
You should disable VAC, Select WDM-KS, Select your VAC cables, and then
enable VAC.

I have seen F5K dropouts in VAC transmit data also, but on Win

I can see the drop-out if I switch the PSDR display to Scope..
When using the default skin, it is not easy to tell if the RIT ( and XIT

The solution is to edit the graphic for that button.. Here is a way to

Your observation may not coincide with mine due to hardware/software
variations.
1. These clicks are most easily observed with a steady tone.. With Mixw
use TX tune Observe the noise floor on the panadapter in the TX
passband while listening slightly off frequency with a second receiver.
Does there exist in the KB Z( I couldn't find any ) a set of block or

metering points, etc. It would clarify for me how the various speech
processor functions interact, etc. etc.

I am running SVN 1433 and have noticed that the CPU usage for PowerSDR
doubles when I turn on VAC.
With VAC off I average about 5-8 % CPU usage for PowerSDR and when I
turn on VAC that jumps up to 13-18% ( nothing connected to the other end
of the VAC ports) .
Anyone else notice this ??
