I had trouble originally with my firewire card, changed to Dynex PCIe - it
is one on the recommended list
and have had zero problems since.
I run PowerSDR 1.18.3 and fldigi. I often have Outlook open and always have
IE8 open.
not locate it by
browsing but did find it by search.

I just received several automatic updates (important security updates) to my
OS and now PowerSDR doesn't work. Below is the message I get when I try to
start PowerSDR. Has anyone else seen this today? Any thoughts on what to
do to fix it?

No, they have a 64-bit version too (I'm running it on a 64-bit Win7
system). Here's the download page:

Flexers,
I am looking for advice. I am trying to get digital modes software
installed on my system: Flex 5000A, HP quad core running Win7, 64 bit Home
Premium.
I am being stymied trying to get virtual serial ports installed. Com0Com is
for 32 bit systems only. VSP Manager requires XP e
wn to get mine.
The problematic firewire card just removed is described in my original
message.

The radio works fine once I get it started. The radio was new for Christmas
and I am just learning how to use it.
After using the radio, I follow the shutdown procedure in the Owner's
Manual: Stop PowerSDR, Close PowerSDR, turn off the transceiver. I
typically do not turn the computer off.
Is there a solution for this? I see the notice that there is a known
compatibility issue with the latest update to Vista.
I am trying to run the test drive version of PowerSDR with Windows 7, 64 bit
on an HP desktop, quad processor, 6GB. PowerSDR requires Microsoft NET
