Sorta bad/good news here but my xyl's new business has reduced my ham time to zero with no relief in sight. I'm downsizing and starting with the most recent major purchase, my FLEX-5000.
This thing is beautiful and a pleasure to drive. I took delivery on it around the first of November 2009 after ordering it at MUD/Dallas in the late summer. It's still warranted. I've used it about 20 times to make some QSO's on HF and 6 meters. It has not been used in the past 3 months! It's totally plug-and-play because I want to sell the rig with it's accompanying Neal Campbell computer. You will unbox the stuff, plug it together, add an antenna, and go on the air.
