i do use 4096. my computer is very fast so no issue , i am looking for sharp 
setting clean setting for cw /

There is no such thing as "optimal".   It depends on your desires, and your PC. 
 A large buffer (4096) and a small sample rate (48K) produce the sharpest 
filters, but also the worst latency (delay between the keystroke and when it 
produces a signal).   See the Knowledge Base article entitled PowerSDR Buffers 
and Sample Rate Relationship for more information.
