And there was no mention of advantages the SDR-1000 has over the
3000. IIRC, there was recent discussion here or on the other
reflector that the 3000 was restricting tx audio bandwidth. This
doesn't happen with the SDR-1000, AFAIK.

intention to dump on the radio that got me into this stuff to begin with! I
just think the 3000 is such a great radio and a great bargain, maybe my
