Yup! Nothing is more permanent than a cherished belief completely unsupported by fact. > What does work...work that rare DX station first, and Cluster Spot > "701YGF 14004 worked with my Flex5K" > > There's only two things that drives buyers in the Ham Market > Success in the DX and Success in the Contest arenas. > It's not knobs, it's working the stations others couldn't. There you go, doing that "fact" thing again! :-) I have been following the "discussion" with increasing amazement. The thing that most boggles my mind is that none of the discussion has anything to do with SDR. Everyone is arguing about knobs, computers, mice, and displays. Nary a word has been uttered about QSDs, ADC bit depth, filter quality, dynamic range, or anything else substantive. But I guess I shouldn't be amazed. There was a time when I was accused of trying to "ruin packet radio" with my TCP/IP experimentation. Every once in awhile I wonder how amateur radio can possibly justify its claim to any of the RF spectrum. This is one of those times. -- 73 de Brian, WB6RQN/J79BPL _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
