Harold, Make sure that you have the Leveler in the Setup menu => DSP => AGC/ALC unchecked. This will automatically drive the gain up without any audio applied, this maybe the rushing that you noticed.. Also with no audio (mic gain at "0" ) you should not have any RF output indicated in

Tim, As I stated he mention the rushing noise and some static. I just reloaded the firmware from the web sit and still have the problem. I am also running the latest SDR from the site. This is starting to sound like a hardware problem since I reloaded everything? > From: telli.
