Skimmer has a key click filter built in that you can turn on and off.
Keying sidebands are very much affected by the rise time. On the Omni-VII, for
example, if set to 10 mSec the width at -70 dB is about 900 Hz, but if set for
3 mSec it is 1500 Hz. Who knows how fast the FT-1000 is, but likely much
