I have used an HP Paviilion Entertainment notebook with a 3000 with great
success. The note book has a 17" screen, dual core Intel processor, 4gb RAM
and an express card slot for the firewire card. I got it at Costco a couple
of years ago for under $800. Has all the bells and whistles any nerd need
My old 3.0 GHZ P4 desktop is starting to misbehave and aggravate me enough to
where I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new computer. I'm leaning towards a
laptop, but I want to make sure I get one that is suitable to run my 5000A.
Firewire ports seem to be a thing of te past, as does PCMCIA. Uni
