Bruce!! I've only been around for a year (hmmm maybe a lil more than that, but not much). The code as it is today in compiled version of SDR-1000 is awesome compared to Gerald's VB code. Think about it: It is still basically ONE HARDWARE with some ECO's. Software is making it DELICIOUSLY better!
A year? NAW! Hang around. There is really no end in sight, for users OR developers, but, like Gerald, you gotta take the risk that the code might fail, or something wonderful might happen! With the acceleration I've seen with wonderful contributors like Bob, Eric, Frank and others .... no telling where this might go! Sure! Windowz sucks, and also the price of the tools... But have you seen Ubuntu? Dan: I'm workin' on it! Ubuntu is REALLY neat! I just wish I had more time. Going to Dayton, Freidricshafen? Would love to metcher! Eric2 A rebuild will take some time, maybe a few more years! And MicroSuck dot Net 2003 is already three years old!
