I was trying 6 meters for the first time today. No problem on SSB.
However, with my usual cw settings I could hear a single short beep in the
receiver after sending a single letter and pausing or sending a few
characters and stopping.

Here is what I discovered by adjusting QSK settings and looking at the
monitor:
-- TX frequency was 50.070
-- Beep was visible on the panadapter display at 50.056 with strength of -64
dBm.
-- It wasn't audible (or visible) when the QSK delay was increased. The
threshold where it was again heard was anything below a QSK delay of 86 ms.

Has anyone else noticed this? Suggestions?

Thanks,

Craig, AE7I
