I thought I had read somewhere that MCW was not allowed (at least in the
US).
According to the DM780 documentation you should be able to send KS/KY CAT
commands to PowerSDR to generate CW.
KS sets the speed and KY sends an ascii string

Could anyone tell me how to setup DM780 and PowerSDR to allow DM780 to key
CW (using KY commands I assume)
I couldn't find anything in the knowledge base .

I have found it to be easy if you are using the complete ham radio
deluxe package, there is a couple of boxs you do need to check in
the setup for allowing the ptt to be controlled via cat. I normally
run nv8 com program to to the serial port normally I set mine to com
16 on the powersdr
